Then we are your vocational school for three and a half years.
You don’t have an apprenticeship in a bicycle company?

What will you learn with us?
You'll learn everything about two-wheelers—whether with or without a motor. You can choose between motorcycle technology and bicycle technology. Starting in the third year of your apprenticeship, this area will be taught in more depth.
How does the training work?
The training typically lasts three and a half years, although it can be shortened. You'll learn at the company and at school, either in rotation (2 weeks at the company, 1 week at school) or as a weekly class (3 days at the company, 2 days at school).
Which specializations can two-wheel mechatronics engineers choose from?
In the first five semesters, the training is the same for everyone. In the sixth and seventh semesters, specialized skills are taught:

Maintain and inspect vehicles and systems according to specifications
Inspect, disassemble, replace and assemble simple assemblies and systems
Identify and eliminate malfunctions
Carry out conversion work according to customer requirements
Carry out inspections on drive systems
Diagnose malfunctions and damage to chassis systems
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical systems
Manufacture and repair wheels and equip them with tires
Perform service tasks on chassis systems
